Are you a Master's student involved in research, a PhD candidate, a postdoc, or an early-career researcher who cares about creating more inclusive and supportive academic spaces?
And are you affiliated with one of the nine universities part of the Circle U. Alliance?

Early-career researchers from underrepresented groups face disproportionate mental health challenges and discrimination in academia. The BRIDGE project (Building Resilience, Inclusion, and Diversity for the next Generation in Education) addresses this urgent need by building a powerful network of changemakers across European universities. We welcome anyone passionate about this topic, and especially encourage applications from women, gender minorities, non-white researchers, migrants, individuals from the Global South, and those with disabilities-your lived experiences are invaluable in shaping a more inclusive academic future.

As a BRIDGE Advocate, you'll participate in 5 monthly online training sessions (2.5-hour workshops plus virtual coffee mentoring) designed to develop your skills in addressing the intersection between mental health and diversity in academic environments. Through this program, you'll gain crucial competencies in equity-driven leadership and conflict resolution, join a supportive European network of like-minded peers, and build your profile as an inclusion advocate. You'll be guided to co-create impactful resources, including a podcast and toolkit, and receive support to host awareness events at your university, creating tangible change in your academic community.

This survey will help us select our BRIDGE Advocates and shape the training to meet your needs. Your responses will remain confidential and will ensure our community becomes a diverse, committed, and representative group of early-career researchers.
